I know that some here are involved with electronics, and even those who are
not, may well know of the AVO.
It has been THE standard test meter for generations.
The first AVO appeared in the 1920's, and in 1952, the AVO 8 was introduced.
The very last AVO 8 has now been made, and production of professional
analogue meters has ended.
Its all digital from now on!
Personally, I like the AVO, and have several of them, so they will outlast
me.
