[modeleng] Re: Norman Spink

Hi Alan

Although I never met Norman, I bought some castings from him only recently, 
and found him a real gentleman to deal with.  I also never heard anyone say 
a bad word about him - his reputation was second to none.  I think he was of 
"advanced years" and would not have wanted to run his business for much 
longer, but either way we are now all the poorer for his loss.

It's good to hear that Blackgates are going to continue his business.  At 
one time I though that Blackgates might fold, following the demise of Ron 
Drake, but they have made a real effort to continue to provide a service to 
our hobby.  Good luck to them, I say.
