Gents,
Startup on this will be some ways down the road but I have just
acquired a partial set of castings and the drawings for a 3.5"ga GNR
Stirling Single #1. The castings are by Dave Goodwin and the drawings by
Locomotive Design Company.
The wheel castings are a bit on the rough side but the balance are lost
wax castings. The drawings are nicely done but proofing of the design and
castings is always a question and unknown, but I will assume the best.
I wondered if anyone knew of a built and running example of this loco?
