Ron, I think there are now sealed versions of needle bearings but all I've ever used are the conventional type. What I've done on my Tich is drill oil passageways in the axleboxes which start with a nut & cone connection on the upper back side of the A'boxes and make their way into the bearing recess. This required drilling two holes, and blocking one. I coordinated things so that when the brgs were pressed in the brg oil holes came to rest exactly over a passageway. The lubrication will be gravity feed through flexible oil lines. The horns and cheeks will get a little oil from the same system.
