Some help with a small problem please. I am building some wooden scale lathes,
as well as some working minature wood turning ones, and need to ream some morse
taper sockets. The scale models will have wooden headstock and tail stock
spindles, but the minature lathes will probably have either BMS or brass ones.
Will an ordinary D-bit reamer work, or will I need to invest some money on
pucker reamers please? I had thought of turning a wooden reamer and fitting it
with a HSS cutting edge, though, so would this have any mileage please?
Thanks,
Tony Wells.
