Plans for the 1" to the foot scale traction engine, ...,were published as
a series in 1958 Model Engineer magazines. The drawings
were done by E F Steel, based on a Davey Paxman 7NHP traction engine.

The first of the 1958 Model Engineer articles on this engine has a note
saying the original design was by Henry Greenly. The model shown below may
also have followed the Greenly design but it is not known where that
design was first published.
