I would have thought that any professional company providing  a laser 
cutting service
would be aware of the issues raised, and as they are appaently familiar with 
the field of model engineering, one would assume that they have taken 
whatever precautions are needed to ensure the parts are fit for the purpose.

As they seem to be attending various shows, and ME clubs, anyone with any of 
the problems raised here would surely have told them about it.
(Oh, they are supposed to be at Guildford today, as was I, but as I dont 
have webbed feet......)
