Ron,

I have use JB Weld for a lot of things as it tends to bite into the parent
metal. The only problems that I have had is when using it to bond something
to a glazed surface.

Most of the expogy glues will take a lot of tension but do not appreciate
shock loading.

i am biased toward the Jb Weld but maybe some of our American members may
have comment to make on this product as that is where it originates from.
