That must have been shortly before he died.

In these photos (which I will get round to posting for everyone) the walls 
in one are shelved with locos everywhere.
I've been trying to identify them all, with limited success.

There's also a very good description with photos in Model Engineer
Volume 132 issues 3305 and 3306. Of particular interest is one photo
showing a set of shelves full of locomotives of various gauges!
