[modeleng] Re: In case anyone is looking for me

Many thanks to everyone for your good wishes.
I am now back home, and recovering.

I dont subscribe to ME, so if anyone has any recent articles or letters that
may be informative I would appreciate a copy / scan, or synopsis.

I know about the restrictions on welding, and assume that also covers plasma
cutting, and similar activities.
I rate that as a minor rather than major inconvenience.

As for ham radio, whilst I am not particularly active at present, I would
like to know what I can and cant do, so will contact the makers. (Mine is
Sorin.)
Whilst off topic as far as this list goes, I did realise that we have
several hams among the members and was sure someone would know something
about the subject.
Peter, I wasnt aware that you have expert knowledge of that subject. Thanks.

Meanwhile, once someone tells me that something is tricky, I start thinking
up ways round the problem.
Might start knitting myself a waistcoat out of steel wool and make my own
Faraday shield! lol

Right now all I want is the OK so that I can start driving again.
