I've often wondered about box joint pliers - I guess they form either the 
jaws or the handles (probably the handles) after the one half has been 
threaded through the other.

In idle moments I often look at domestic items and consider how I would make
them with the equipment at my disposal.
(Lids for jam jars would be fun!)

Unless they have a corkscrew shaped drill, the only way I can think of
making them is to drill the coolant holes, and then twist them to shape.

Anyonw know this, or have any better ideas?
