[modeleng] Hooray.... sliding head collet chuck fixed!

Howdy all... although weather (and rugby viewing) curtailed workshop
activity this past weekend I managed at least to get one thing filed in
the "good job jobbed" file.... Many moons ago I siold off my MA99E
sliding head collet chucks and the hundreds of collets I had accumulated
for them, they took up too much space, I could never find the right damn
sized collet and I'd pretty much stopped doing the repeat operation
stuff for work that had been their raison d'etre.... The other reason I
let them go was because they were worth rather a lot of money and I
managed to pick up for cheap a Crawford B-series lever operated chuck
and enough collets to have pretty much the full set (I think I'm missing
two out of the complete set) ... only problem was the chuck needed a
rebuild.... Well I finally sorted it out.... Basically some previous
attempt at servicing it had left it with two issues:

The return spring preload grubscrews had been screwed down onto the
springs instead of preloading the springs and locking them in position,
so the springs weren't doing anything;

The collet holder and chuck body were mismatched so the collet holder
was a fraction too big, also the chuck body was out of round by nearly a
though.....

I replaced the springs from my stock with some that approximated the
right force and very carefully skimmed the chuck body and repolished
both the body and the collet holder....

End result is it all seems to be fine, the collets open and close
smoothly, the grip seems good and the best thing about it is 28 collets
cover the entire range ......
