Hello everyone!
I have missed your company over the past ten weeks, while we were in Cape Town. 
    I had a very successful knee-replacement operation while during our sttay, 
but sadly did not have email facilities during my convalescence - your messages 
would have brightened that tedious month!    The op was eminently successful 
and it is a joy to be walking normallyagain, without pain.

I am about to return to my workshop, where I am faced with a mammoth 
reorganisation - but a very pleasant one!    Just before we left, my friendly 
local tool-and-cutter grinder retired.     He disposed of his machinery for the 
proverbial song (If only I had space!).   And then on the last day, before he 
finally cleared the building, he invited me and a fellow model engineer, to 
help ourselves to quantities of milling cutters, lathe tools, drills, reamers 
etc.   I will never lack for these again!     If you are stuck for a specific 
size, let me know, and who knows? there may be a duplicate (or two!)

Changing the subject: before I inform others, I have a quantity of rectangular 
BMS, all 1/2" x 6", in widths of 1/2", 3/4" and 1".   If you need some, please 
contact me on shep.28@xxxxxxxxxxxx, and lets haggle!       If anyone is near St 
Albans, come and see me.
