I just checked and on Dec 12th their shares were
suspended at 0.7pence each.
They were then due to hold talks with their bankers to
see about restructuring their debts.
Kelvin Mackenzie, the former editor of the Sun was
appointed Chairman three onths ago to turn the company
round, and on the 22nd of this month, he resigned,
blaming "excessive debts" as the problem.
Interestingly, the whole company is now valued at £2.2
million, whereas a year ago when they started talking
about selling titles, they wanted ONE MILLION POUNDS
each for ME and MEW!
