Terry and one and all,
For what it is worth I think the EU is best kept where it is but I think big
business is slowly taking over the whole retail side of things.
With regards to old ME's, I will often drag out a year's supply from way
back and rerad them to see what litle tit bit I have overlooked ( Actually
forgottten). I am forced to ask myself the question about Model Engineers in
general. I look at the standard of models that were produced in the early
days with very little equipment and compare them to the ones we build today.
I think we have made improvements in getting the job done easier and quicker
but my hat goes off to the "old ME's" who have passed on.
Please do not get me wrong about the curret standard of models because there
are really great models around. Like Wilfred said. I just think that maybe I
had better take up another hobby when I droooool at the standard achieved by
others.
Regards to all,
John
