Clif,
I normally use .005"-.006" on diameter (.003" clearance). But I
also "channel" the axle seats, . . . . meaning that I leave a collar about
1/16" wide at the outside and inside edges of the seat which are a tight
slip fit to the wheel bore, seperated by a channel .003" or so deep. This
gives the Loctite its curing space but insures the wheel will set square on
the axle.
