[modeleng] Fixing Wheels using Loctite

Hi All,
I must be getting old and forgetful. Or just more forgetful.

I am about to machine some cast iron loco wheels for fitting onto axles using 
Loctite 601 and I have forgotten the clearance ratio. 
I seem to remember that it was so many thou per inch diameter, but I am  hanged 
if I can remember what the ratio was.

To save me going back through years of ME magazines to find it, can somebody 
please refresh my memory.
