[modeleng] Re: Evening classes in Southampton

What the Plymouth club have been doing for quite a number of years is to 
negotiate privately with the local training colleges.  Not to hold a course, 
but to use the facilities of the college as a club.The college set a fee for 
the year and members could opt for a term's subscription or pay by the night 
(at a slightly more enhanced rate).  Until last year, the access to the 
college was self funding by the members' payment, but last year it had to be 
subsidised by the club.Until last last September,  the college used had been 
attended very successfully for at least 8 years.  Then of course, the college 
closed.Negotations were then carried out successfully with the College Of 
Further Education in Plymouth, but this year the fees were increased to make it 
not a viable possibility.   However, I understand that negotiations are under 
way with another establishment in the area.  I will pass on the outcome in due 
course.

Lokos like we've lost the Oxfordshire one... they've moved the workshops
to BIcester but there isn't a course listed for it from there this
year.... Does anyone know where else might do around here?....
