> Hi Alan and All,
Yes the Trevithic run was back on and I went yesterday.
Now however the route is not up the High Street which was the traditional
route as owing to the crowds the Police declared it a hazard.
The full size engines are now routed round the back streets of Camborne so
that they come back to a little bit of the High Street which is kept clear
of traders stall, up the hill which Treviticks original machine made it's
run. Mind you they call it a hill but apart from the last 30 yards, it is
more of a slope really.
It must be the one and only free Steam Show in the country.
I do have a few photos but as this site does not allow them I can't post
them .
Regards
Clif
