Hi there Al,
This looks like is needs a 20 pronged tool to go around the castillated
fitting which is about 1" OD - there is noting inside the fitting which it
looks like you can grib to appart from the thread which the gas fitting
itself screws into. Am contemplating loctitiing something into this thread
to try and unscrew the fitting with.
