[modeleng] Re: Bonkers stainless

Had another play with it last night, this time I took my own (known to
be sharp and not abused by troglodyte teenagers) indexable carbide
tooling in with me.... Won't say it cut quickly, but the Bridgeport was
happy cutting at a speed that was basically twice the listed HSS speed
for mild steel, usually I run at between 3x and 4x HSS speed for 303
stainless but the mill didn't seem to want to cut if I went that
fast......
Wish I knew what this stuff was..... Oh well I'm planning on making some
frames for a train out of it next year....
