It sounds like what used to be called stainless iron, of shich there are /
were several types.
From memory, some of it was very hard, but also took a superb polish, if you
had the time and energy to do so.
What ever it is, I dont want any !

Subject: [modeleng] Bonkers stainless
Hi folks.... I'm trying to work out what the expletive I spent last
night blunting college tools on... it's stainless steel (it's not
titanium, I've worked with titanium and it's not usually this bad, plus
this stuff is too heavy for titanium, about right for steel), weirdly it
is magnetic (most stainless I've ever played with isn't), and it is as
tough as old boots,
