[modeleng] Re: Ashpans Rob Roy and Maisie

Thanks for your e-mail.

To clarify the current situation (assuming correct interpretation of the 
drawings) I'll e-mail you a pdf sketch of the ashpans off list (it is a 
pretty small file, which even a dial up connection should be able to 
download in approx 2 seconds). Let me know if you have any problems 
viewing it.

Emptying arrangements on Rob Roy are pulling a pin to drop the grate and 
ashpan, so if the ashpan fills, then you have to drop the fire.

On Maisie, a lever on the back of the blackhead drops the rear of the 
centre portion of the grate which will tip the fire out via the back of 
the ashpan.

My issue was mainly the fact that as built the ashpan looks like it would 
just clog; and that I must be making a mistake somewhere; so was after a 
second opinion on whether it looks wrong or not.
