Allen,
They have been gluing aircraft together for years!!!! Improves airframe
life, no rivets to rust!! Ok, haven't tried gluing a 5" boiler together yet
and, as far as I know, there isn't another preserved railway that has tried
to glue cladding on. The only gluing that does come to mind was on one of
gods own Black Fives. A TV commercial was made for Polycell wallpaper paste
and they papered a Black Five, looked like Laura Ashly had got hold of
it!!!!! If I remember right, it was on the NYMR, if not it was the K&WVR.
