Jesse, I was taking off about .0005 inch..........in brass - when the second one broke. They weren't terribly good quality anyway. Having snapped a blade on each of the two I had, I don't think I'll bother replacing them, but purchase straight forward reamers and make sure th sizes I use are standard. Incidentally, have any other UK readers bought imperial twist drills recently? I got some Dormer 1/8 drills, and they seem to me to nearer 3mm than 1/8. despite their marking. Or is it just me?
