[modeleng] Re: Adept/Super Adept lathes

The taper was a "special", unique to Adept.
That is, for those that HAD a taper. 
Most just had a threaded end (3/8" Whit or possibly
BSF) on which to mount chucks, faceplates, etc.

As for 1/8" whitworth screws, I may have a few about,
and will have a look when I am back home,  but the
easiest way is probably to make some.


From memory, there was one single page article about
them back in the late 50's or perhaps early 60's,, but
it didnt give much information.
If someone else doesnt have a look at the ME index, I
will, once again, when I am back home.
