From their online FAQ:

> Where can I use Virtual Account Numbers?
> Virtual Account Numbers can be used for online purchases, catalog purchases,
> and phone orders.

The point being, you don't have a card - so you can use it wherever you can
use a credit card number without a physical card in hand.
