Tim, Due to my phone call to Citibank today, I was told of this option. I will investigate this further, but as I understood it, it only works for internet payments. This would mean, that generating a virtual card for one of use, and then calling a vendor by phone, wouldn't work.(and giving him the card details for paying your purchase) At least that is the way I understood it. I will check this out further Patrick Tim Kirby wrote: >> On Fri, 19 Oct 2007, Patrick Coppens-Marian Lynch wrote: >> >> >>> The card is blocked, as from yesterday, on the initiative of Citibank, >>> and is now destroyed, and a new card applied for. >>> > > I don't know if citibank offers this internationally, but in the USA they > have an online service that allows you to create 'virtual' card numbers > for use online.
