[modeleng] Re: ALERT!! IMPORTANT!! and PS about Model Engineer

Rich,
I know, this topic, is strictly spoken, of topic, but I thought it
important enough to let you all know, that due diligence is not a luxury.
As far as blocked card go, it is because it was blocked, that I found
out, as the letter from Citibank hasn't reached me yet.
And as I stated before, a new one is now applied for.
When this whole mess is sorted, I will, after a talk with my Commanding
Officer, try and get the limit on her card down to the minimum (she has
a card of the same account), which should be 1250 Euro's.
Using that card then for all mail order and the like, where one can't
use Pay Pal.
This should limited the damage, in case something like this happens
again, and for some reason the VISA people won't pay.
Maybe there is a system, that can limit the monthly amount, I will make
inquiries about this.
I do need it, as almost all of the stuff & books/magazine that we all
read & need, are only available in the UK or the US, and not in Flanders.
As I never spend much, one or two books, a lathe tool... you know, the
usual stuff us "flat capers" buy, I don't need to be able to have access
to large sums in a hurry.
Any one who wants large sums of me, can retire, to that dark place,
where the sun, doesn't cast its rays, if you get my drift....
Needles to say: "Up with this, I will not put!"
