The sort of models that I make use a lot of 10-14 BA . I make my own box
spanners by drilling a short rod to the required across flat diam., then
hammering in a stub of allen key of the right size. It often takes a bit of
wiggling to get it out, but the results are more than adequate for these
small sizes.
