I've used the Motif with all kinds of USB flash drives, and they've all worked
fine.
Be sure that you've formatted it as FAT. Your computer will normally format it
as NTFS, and the Motif can't read that format.
If FAT and NTFS don't make any sense to you, then you need to put the drive in
to the Motif, go in to File mode, and use the format screen to erase/format it
correctly.

Hi: Do you know what types (manufacturers) they recommend, the manual indicates

I know the smallest I've used on the motif es is a 64 m.b flash drive. don't
think you can use no bigger than a 2 gig flash drive though!

Hi: Does anyone know the types of flash drives and capacity I can use with the
Motif Es? I looked at the manual and it referred me to a link, but can't seem
to find anything there. I tried a 248 meg flash and it freezes the instrument.
