Sounds like a great place to sit! And you got some cool shots to boot! Great job on handling the whites as well! This great egret is one of four that have been hanging out with several snowy egrets and three wood storks competing for the smorgasbord of small prey. They are not without other competition, however, as several cottonmouths, broad banded water snakes, and as of yesterday morning a family of wild hogs are also foraging in the shallow water and mud. Needless to say I have had a great time observing and photographing all of the activity in the bayou. LP
