There is an easy way to go look at all 48 of the photos at one time, of the
Hiller Park Smooth-billed Ani posted to Ebird so far. All three of the posted
Audios are there too.
You just go into any Ebird Checklist for Hiller Park.
Then click on the blue Icon near the top of the Checklist that says "(Hotspot)"
Then at the top of that Hotspot screen that comes up, there is another icon
that says "Illustrated Checklist" over to the right. Click on that.
The Illustrated Checklist for Hiller Park will come up.
To date, there have been 155 species reported at this location and 46 of those
species have photos.
You just scroll down through the species until you get to Smooth-billed Ani.
Over to the right side there is a blue number, right now it shows "48" meaning
48 photos of that bird posted to Ebird currently. Click on the number and all
of the photos will come up for viewing. Same applies to the 3 Audios.
This Illustrated Checklist feature is a valuable and fun new feature that the
Ebird folks have just added in the last few months.
You can do the same review of any Ebird Hotspot in the US or maybe the world,
just by following the above path when you check out a Hotspot location. There
are some amazing Hotspots with some great photos. The more photos we post,
the more there will be to enjoy.
Not to sound like a broken record, but Ebird is a valuable and fun birding
tool.
