Just a quick note to let you know I had a male ruby throated hummer at my
feeder this afternoon. I also had the first real influx of cedar waxwings here
near the Coast. My poor Savannah Holly has been ladened
with berries just waiting for them. Spring is definitely taking a big jump here
with mulberries forming on my trees and some trees fully leafed out including
my Celeste fig. Not noted any new growth on pecans-and as my mama always told
me they will never be caught in a freeze. We shall see if anymore cold weather
comes our way.
