Your last suggestion works. Hurray :)
With fastq::prefix it started to assemble the data. Its still running.
will update you once its finished.

I think the error is about the MIRA not guessing your files are FASTQ
format. Either rename *.fq to *.fastq or include the fastq:: prefix
as I wrote in my last email:

data = fastq::/data7/data/reads.left.fq fastq::/data7/data/reads.right.fq

Could you suggest any sample data to used as 1st run with MIRA?

MIRA (used to) include some test data, although I think Bastien
has not updated the examples for the latest changes to MIRA.
