Hi Lionel, (or Sven),

could you try and see whether

  http://www.chevreux.org/tmp/mira_2.9.45x1_dev_linux-gnu_x86_64.tar.bz2
or
  http://www.chevreux.org/tmp/mira_2.9.45x1_dev_linux-gnu_i686_32.tar.bz2

resolves parts of the problem? I.e., do the tags now appear in consed?

It may be that comments are not appearing correctly as I've not yet
implemented the COMMENT{} feature of ACE (which was new for me).

Additionally I've got a question: the docs for consed describe the possibility
to add comments for consensus tags ("Lionel was here" :-). Is this also
possible for read tags like in gap4? I didn't find anything related to this,
but it's actually quite an important feature for backbone assemblies using
annotated GenBank files. Could you please make a test in consed and paste the
resulting ACE file?

Regards,
  Bastien
