Respected Sir,

I created a new directory Dataform in which I entered the respective
data.fasta and data.fastq files. so my directory seems
sharmistha@PLEX-1:~/Sharmistha/Bioinfo/Project_data/my_project/Dataform$
ls -l
total 746152
-rw-r--r-- 1 sharmistha sharmistha 3560 2009-09-19 13:42
mydata_backbone_in.gbf
-rw-r--r-- 1 sharmistha sharmistha 243851317 2009-09-16 11:03 mydata.fasta
-rw-r--r-- 1 sharmistha sharmistha 386595241 2009-09-16 10:56 mydata.fastq
-rw-r--r-- 1 sharmistha sharmistha 132828265 2009-09-19 12:58
mydata_straindata_in.txt
-rw-r--r-- 1 sharmistha sharmistha 42 2009-09-19 16:32
log_assembly.txt
-rw-r--r-- 1 sharmistha sharmistha 0 2009-09-19 17:18 mira
-rw-r--r-- 1 sharmistha sharmistha 2900 2009-09-19 13:09 seq.gbf

vi log_assembly.txt = bash: --project=mydata: command not found

This is what I got. Hope this answers your query.

Waiting for your reply earnestly but patiently(amongst all your busy
schedules).

Thanks a lot,
With due regards,
Sharmistha
