Can you provide an example output of what kind of details this program provides?

the same output provided by Mira into contigstats file:

    --hello,

I don't know if this could be useful, but I just finished
a program that generates statistics directly from ACE files.
It is faster or slower depending on the number of sequences per
    contig encountered.
It works well as is but I think it can be optimized, it will
    depend on feedback and demand.

It is to be tested on differents platforms.
For now I have compiled a 64bit version available
    here:http://www.vital-it.ch/prd/lmanchon/ace2stats.bin

There are small differences in results with those generated by
mira, but it is insignificant (i think).

    thank you,
