4 Steps To Set Up Your Home Wireless Network
By Tony Northrup
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/moredone/wirelesssetup.mspx

You can use a wireless network to share Internet access, files, printers, and
more.
Or you can use it to surf the Web while you're sitting on your couch or in your
yard.
Plus, it's easier to install than you think.

There are 4 steps to creating a wireless network:

1. Choose your wireless equipment
2. Connect your wireless router
3. Configure your wireless router
4. Connect your computers

Fake Microsoft Security Update
http://www.sophos.com/virusinfo/articles/fakemsupdate.html

Experts at SophosLabs?, Sophos's global network of virus and spam analysis
centres, have warned users to be on their guard against an attempt by hackers
to break into their computers under the disguise of being a Microsoft security
update.

Sophos's spam labs have intercepted an email campaign intended to direct
innocent computer users to a bogus website, posing as Microsoft's official
website for critical security patches. However, if users follow the links in
the email and try and download updates from the website they are infected by
the Troj/DSNX-05 Trojan horse, which allows hackers to take remote control of
the infected PC.

Emails sent by the hackers claim to come from "Windows Update"
<update@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> and include subject lines such as "Update your windows
machine", "Urgent Windows Update", and "Important Windows Update".

The body of the email claims to link to Microsoft's Windows Update site but
instead links to a website under the control of the hackers.

The Microsoft Internet Explorer Go Button

Do you ever use the little Go button that sits to the right of the Microsoft
Internet Explorer 6 address bar? The fact is that most of us just type in an
address and then press Enter.

If you'd like to just eliminate the Go button, you can choose Tools|Internet
Options.
When the Internet Options dialog box opens, click the Advanced tab.
Now, scroll down through the list and deselect "Show Go button in Address bar".
Click OK to close the dialog box and continue without a Go button.
You get a little more space for your addresses this way.

 Outrageous Ooze - Kids Science
http://www.exploratorium.edu/science_explorer/ooze.html

This stuff can't make up its mind -- is it a liquid or a solid?
Pick up a handful and squeeze it.
Stop squeezing and it will drip through your fingers.
Rest your fingers on the surface of the Ooze.
Let them sink down to the bottom of the bowl.
Then try to pull them out fast. What happens?
Take a blob and roll it between your hands to make a ball.
Then stop rolling. The Ooze will trickle away between your fingers.
Put a small plastic toy on the surface. Does it stay there or does it sink?

Clicking Shift + Backspace will go forward through the pages that were
recently displayed

Alt key + Home key will take me to the page I have set as my home page.
I have Google search set as my home page as it is the one I need most often.

Antivirus software is a good choice to scan your system for possible viruses,
however no virus scanner is 100% effective as manufactures cannot keep up with
the rapid change of viruses that happens daily.
Be sure to update yours regularly.
