Cosmic Bugs
http://www.nstorm.com/games/game_detail.asp?game_id=296
Cosmic Bugs takes its cue from the addictive classics Jezzball and Qix. But
that's where the similarity ends, because Cosmic Bugs has different shapes for
each level, 3D rendered graphics, digital sound, new enemies, and tons of
power-ups. The game features over 500 levels, and does not require any special
hardware. It's easy to control and easy to play!

Spyware, Scams, & Other Online Hazards

Do you know what evils may be lurking on your computer? If you're online,
you're at risk of a whole host of online hazards. Programs called "spyware" and
"adware," as well as worms and trojans, may be doing bad things to your
computer (and to you) without your knowledge. This may sound like the stuff of
fiction, but these problems are much more widespread than most people realize ?
almost every student computer brought in to Computer Services for repairs is
infected with spyware, adware, viruses, & other nasty things. The dangers are
real and multiplying, and the bad guys are getting more & more sophisticated
with their tricks. Chances are that your computer has already been infected
with these things ? they may even be helping criminals steal your identity!

Why We help Altruism
Ok we all get asked why do you spend so much time on the internet trying to
find answers for others that you don't know?
I knew there was a word for it but being a lousy speller <BG> I had trouble
finding it.
Altruism - www.altruism.org/
Quote;
"Imagine a world where people give of themselves simply because they want to.
Not out of a sense of debt. Or because they want something in return. No
ulterior motives. No guilt feelings. Just a desire to give for the sake of
giving. Now instead of imagining this kind of world, do your part in making it
happen. Make a charitable donation. Volunteer your time to improve your
community. Give back to the world that gives so much to you. And if it happens
to make you feel good, that's all right.
Feeling good is the one ulterior motive that's acceptable." -Bill Daniels
What more can I say.

Interesting Optical Illusion
http://www.cs.toronto.edu/~moraes/illusion.html
If you take a look at the following picture , let me tell you ... it is not
animated. Your eyes are making it move.
To test this, stare at one spot for a couple seconds and everything will stop
moving. Or look at the black center
of each circle and it will stop moving. But move your eyes to the next black
center and the previous will move after
you take your eyes away from it.... Weird

Refreshing Web Sites
OK, do you visit web pages with dynamic, frequently updated content?
You know, stuff like news, stocks, and weather type sites.
Anyhow, have you ever noticed that sometimes you just can't get the stupid page
to refresh?
Sure, you hit the refresh button but it's the same page (and you just know it's
been updated).
Explorer is stubbornly refusing to re-load the thing properly.
Is there any hope? Are you going to be stuck looking at outdated information
forever?
You'll be glad to learn there is a little trick you can use. Just put a
question mark after the URL.
Your browser, not being all that bright, will think it's a new page and re-load
it for you.
The question mark won't affect the page or the way it's displayed, so don't
sweat that part.
Anyhow, here's an example. Let's say you went to:
http://www.theweathernetwork.com (because we know the weather is always
changing!)
To make the page completely re-load, type this instead:
http://www.theweathernetwork.com?
Oh, if you need to keep re-loading, you can keep adding junk
after the question mark:
http://www.theweathernetwork.com?1kjsdk
Cool huh? Why does this work?
When your browser sees the question mark, it only loads the page in front of
it. However, since the whole URL changes, you get a complete re-load of the
page.
Another way: You could also hold down the Ctrl key while clicking Refresh.

Driver's Dilemma Version 1.0 - Freeware
http://www.wordboosters.com/more/mr_dd.html
In this our latest puzzle game, the objective is to drive your car around each
level collecting the gems, without hitting any obstacles such as walls or
rolling boulders. It may sound easy, but you don't have as much control over
the car as you think. Once your car starts moving, it continues moving it a
straight line until it hits a stop-sign or is redirected by one of several
directional road signs. Still sound easy? Well, not all the signs are on the
playing field for you. There are several you need to place somewhere on the
field yourself, thus planning your trip to pick up the gems and solving the
level.

Do Not Restart From a System Error In XP ~ Mike's Friday tip
In Windows XP if it detects a critical error, it will send information to a log
file and automatically try to restart.
You can change the setting so that you get an error message instead which you
can use to help diagnose the problem.
1) Double-click "My Computer" on the desktop.
2) When the "My Computer" window appears, right-click on the small computer
icon on the top-left of the window and choose "Properties".
3) When the "System Properties" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, select
"Advanced".
4) Click "Settings" next to "Startup and Recovery".
5) When the "Startup and Recovery" dialog box appears, uncheck "Automatically
Restart".
6) Click "OK" to close the dialog boxes.

Antivirus software is a good choice to scan your system for possible viruses,
however no virus scanner is 100% effective as manufactures cannot keep up with
