Bart's Preinstalled Environment (BartPE) bootable live windows CD/DVD
http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/
Bart's PE Builder helps you build a "BartPE" (Bart Preinstalled Environment)
bootable Windows CD-Rom or DVD
from the original Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 installation/setup CD,
very suitable for PC maintenance tasks.
It will give you a complete Win32 environment with network support, a
graphical user interface (800x600) and
FAT/NTFS/CDFS filesystem support. Very handy for burn-in testing systems

Google Maps
http://maps.google.com/
Google Maps is an online service that allows users in the U.S. to find
location information, navigate through
maps, and get directions quickly and easily. Google Maps has several unique
features:
Draggable maps ? you can click and drag Google maps to view adjacent
sections; no more long waits while
new areas download.
Integrated Local search results ? Google Maps integrates local search
results from Google Local.
So to find a pizza place, simply type in "pizza in San Jose", and pizza
places appear at various locations
on your map, with phone numbers for each location on the right side of the
page
.
Turn-by-turn directions ? Type in an address and Google Maps plots the
route for you, displaying it visually
on the map itself, together with step-by-step directions for getting there
(or back from there). When you
click on one of these steps (say, "turn left"), you see a floating bubble
with a magnified view of the area
mentioned in the directions.

Tech News
http://news.totalpc.org
Well, one thing I like to do online, is to read tech news, and play with the
latest programs to see if I can find one I like, or find interesting. So I
decided to make a page, with RSS news feeds, from all the tech sites I like
to visit. In it, is everything from betanews.com (bleeding edge software),
theregister, Slashdot, PC World, etc etc etc. Because they are RSS feeds,
they are updated regularly, so visiting the page an hour later, will bring
you different news.
Thanks to; John G

Antivirus software is a good choice to scan your system for possible viruses,
however no virus scanner is 100% effective as manufactures cannot keep up with
the rapid change of viruses that happens daily.
Be sure to update yours regularly.
