WinSockFix
http://aaronserv.dyndns.org/downloads/winsockfix/
This is a cool program that fixes a problem that I've run into a few times
-- You can ping addresses over the internet, but other programs like
Internet Explorer refuse to work. Usually this happens after you remove a
program that has modified how your computer communicates with the internet
(a software firewall, or some kind of spyware), so this program "restores
registry keys, that may become corrupt after removing the host program that
modified them." It works with Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, and XP.

The Flapper
http://homepage.mac.com/keithgreenstein/Flapper/PhotoAlbum41.html
As far as I know, this is the only paper airplane that flaps its wings when
it flies.
No motor, no rubberbands.
Just a piece of typing paper, a penny and an inch of tape.

Puzzle Parlor

http://www.gamepuzzles.com/pparlor/puzzleparlmm.html
Do you enjoy puzzles? Well then, you're going to love this site.
Start by clicking the logo to begin your playtime. Select a shape to start
your puzzle.

Choose a piece and place it on the puzzle surface you can rotate pieces by
pressing the right arrow key on the keyboard, and if you mess up you can
reset the puzzle at anytime. Some of these puzzles are difficult, but very
enjoyable.

Hidding the Taskbar
As you know, the taskbar is always visible at the bottom of the screen. This
makes it very easy for you to switch between active applications. However,
you might not want to sacrifice a portion of your screen for the taskbar.
For example, if you're working with large graphic images, you'll need to see
as much of the screen as possible. If this is the case, you can configure
the taskbar so that it's
visible on the desktop only when you need it.

To do so, click the Start button and choose: Settings> Taskbar And Start
Menu.
When the Taskbar And Start Menu Properties dialog box appears, select the
Auto Hide check box on the General property sheet. Then, click OK to close
the dialog box and to activate the new setting.

As soon as you do, you'll see the taskbar quickly drop down below the bottom
edge of the screen. To access the taskbar when the Auto Hide option is
activated, you simply move your cursor to the edge of the screen. When your
cursor gets close to the edge, the taskbar jumps back into position; when
you move your cursor away from the taskbar, Windows automatically hides it
again.

UltraMagnifier Version 1.0 free
http://www.pallium.com/download.php
Platform Windows 2000 or later
Description UltraMagnifier is a professional-grade screen magnification
utility for artists, software engineers, user interface designers, or anyone
who needs an up-close view of the images on their screen. This screen
magnifier was designed to be better than all others and has many features,
such as pixel gridding and printing, that you won't find in any other screen
magnification application.
Besides providing several zoom levels (1X, 2X, 4X, 8X, 16X, and 32X),
UltraMagnifier gives you a customizable pixel grid and a status bar that
shows the color values of the pixel under the pointer and its screen
coordinates.

Tracing Email and Web IP Addresses
If you look into the headers of an email you can find the IP address of
the sender. By putting the IP address into the different field boxes on
the www.DNSstuff.com web site you can find out all kinds of info.

Antivirus software is a good choice to scan your system for possible viruses,
however no virus scanner is 100% effective as manufactures cannot keep up with
the rapid change of viruses that happens daily.
Be sure to update yours regularly.
