Audiograbber 1.83 free
http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/
Audiograbber is a beautiful piece of software that grabs digital audio from
CD's. It copies the audio digitally-not through the sound card-which enables

you to make perfect copies of the originals. It can even perform a test to
see that the copies really are perfect. Audiograbber can also automatically
normalize the music, delete silence from the start and/or end of tracks,
and send them to a variety or external MP3 encoders, such as Fraunhofers
L3enc, or even use some MP3/WMA encoders internally for automatic
creation of MP3's. Audiograbber can download and upload disc info from
freedb, an Internet compact disc database. You can even record your
vinyl LP's or cassette tapes with Audiograbber and make wav's or MP3's
of them. There are a lot more functions in Audiograbber, but to put it
simply: Audiograbber has the most features one can wish from such a program!

'Christy's Computer Corner'

Starter
http://members.lycos.co.uk/codestuff/
Freeware

As a primary purpose, Starter allows one to view and manage all the
programs that are starting automatically whenever operating system is
loading.
It enumerates all the hidden registry entries, start up folders' items and
some of the initialization files, so that the user could choose to
temporarily
disable selected entries, edit them, create new, or delete them permanently.

Secondary purpose is to list all the running processes with possibility to
view extended process' information (such as used DLLs, memory usage,
thread count, priorities etc.), and to terminate selected process (even
a Windows NT service, having enough access rights).

Starter is a real Freeware and is not crippled in any way among the
similar products. The user interface is pretty simple and has lots of
options
that are self-explanatory.

Domain Blocking
Did you know that you can block e-mail that you don't want?
Did you now that you can block a sender so that you won't get any more
e-mail from that source?
The only issue is that sender could just use another e-mail address.

One way you can do a better job of blocking such e-mail is to block the
entire domain.
That way you can block anything that arrives from that domain
(ABC.com for example).
To do this, choose Tools > Message Rules > Blocked Senders List.
When the dialog opens, click Add and enter the domain name you want to stop.

Click OK to activate your new entry and close the dialog
box.

USB Boot Devices

With the latest advances in technology some manufactures are no longer
offering floppy drives with their basic computers.

Fortunately for us the advent of Flash/Pen drives which are USB connected
will allow you to boot from them.
The newer mother boards will allow you to boot from a USB device.

If you still have a floppy drive you can download the DOS drivers to a
floppy disk or even a CD version.

Antivirus software is a good choice to scan your system for possible viruses,
however no virus scanner is 100% effective as manufactures cannot keep up with
