Offline NT Password & Registry Editor, Bootdisk / CD
http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/
I've put together a single floppy or CD which contains things needed to edit
the passwords on most systems.
The bootdisk supports standard (dual)IDE controllers, and most
SCSI-controllers with the drivers supplied in a seperate archive below. It
does not need any other special hardware, it will run on 486 or higher, with
at least 32MB (I think) ram or more. Unsupported hardware: MCA, EISA, i2o
may not work. Some newer IDE/SCSI-raid systems may not work either.
Tested on: NT 3.51, NT 4, Windows 2000 (except datacenter?), Windows XP (all
versions), Window Server 2003 (at least Enterprise).

Talking Alarm Clock
http://www.cinnamonsoftware.com/alarm_clock.htm
Windows 98/ME/2K/XP
This program lets your computer remind you of important dates and events.
It uses Microsoft® Agent to show a talking animated alarm.
The alarm can also play any sound you choose and includes a handy snooze
button.
An alarm can be set to go off once, daily, weekly, monthly or annually, with
very flexible scheduling.
Each alarm can have multiple schedules.
An icon in the Windows system tray gives quick access to the alarm clock.
The New Alarm Wizard makes adding an alarm fast and easy.
Talking Alarm Clock's windows are easy on the eye, with soft colors and
gentle transitions.
There's also help balloon that shows a full explanation of each part of the
Alarm Clock window.
Talking Alarm Clock provides an animated clock that wakes you or reminds you
at whatever intervals you set.

WordFile4ME Freeware
http://www.byronsoftware.org.uk/School/WordFile/
WordFile4ME - the 'staged' Word Processor designed for educational use and
it's FREE
The application is an Object Linked Embedded (OLE) capable word processor
with nine different stages/faces, to suit curriculum requirements the stage
menu selector allows features to be enabled progressively. Opening a
document reconfigures the application to the stage/level at which it was
saved, hence solving the configuration problem when, for example, year 1
pupils follow year 6 pupils into the school's computer room.
The comprehensive Help, Tutorial and Tip files are provided to
assist with the understanding of program function and include
suggestions as to lesson/session content and pupil progress.
Differentiation within lesson plans for a mixed ability pupil
group can be readily accomodated.

Instantly Transform Windows Explorer into My Computer
Have you ever been working in Windows Explorer and realized that the task
you're performing could be done more easily in a My Computer style folder
window?
If so, chances are that you've closed Windows Explorer and then launched My
Computer.
However, why go to all that work when you can easily transform Windows
Explorer into My Computer?
All you need to do is to click the Close button in the top-right corner of
the Folders pane
(the left most pane in the Windows Explorer window).
Instantly, the pane will disappear and you can work with your files and
folders in one single pane, as you can in My Computer.
You can then reverse the transformation by choosing View | Explorer Bar |
Folders.

Antivirus software is a good choice to scan your system for possible viruses,
however no virus scanner is 100% effective as manufactures cannot keep up with
the rapid change of viruses that happens daily.
Be sure to update yours regularly.
