anniversary of their birth. All data is taken directly from your Outlook
Express address book. Remove, change, and edit all of your contact
information via this app -- and send messages directly from it. Column
widths are fully adjustable and your settings will be saved. At a glance,
you can determine someone's (or some couple's) age.

KeyTweak - Keyboard Remapper v1.14
http://webpages.charter.net/krumsick/
Keytweak is a free keyboard remapper for Windows NT/2000/XP.
KeyTweak is a simple utility that allows users to redefine their keyboard
input signals.
The functionality is made possible by a new registry value introduced by
Microsoft in Windows 2000 and included in Windows XP.
This section lists some of KeyTweak?s features and reasons you may want to
use KeyTweak.
Features
Simple interface
Easy-to-read lists of all current and pending re-mappings
Implementation of Specialty Keys support for certain keyboards
Remove all re-mappings with a single button
Enable/disable annoying keys
Displays what exactly is written to the ?Scancode Map? registry
value and how to interpret its binary data
User warnings help ensure Ctrl-Alt-Delete sequence is maintained
Why Would I Want to Remap My Keys?
Unless you are one of the few people that make use of every key on your
keyboard and are completely happy with your keyboard layout, there is
probably something you would like to change on your keyboard. Maybe you
have an IBM Thinkpad and you really miss having a Windows Logo key. Maybe
you are used to using a different keyboard and you keep hitting the wrong
key. Maybe you know that you are going to be doing a lot of numerical data
entry and would like to change your Num Pad + key into a Tab key for a
little while. How about changing Scroll Lock into a Mute button? There
are lots of reasons for why you might remap your keyboard.

HIBERNATER TM
http://www.rblevin.net/HBN_Index.htm
FREE Automatic Hibernation Utility for Microsoft Windows XP
How it's Easier
Hibernater requires just one click to activate hibernation. By contrast,
Windows requires users to enter multiple clicks and navigate menus to send
their PC into hibernation. Also, depending on how your Windows XP system is
configured, the hibernation option might not appear on any menus.
How it's Faster
Hibernater also sends most PCs into hibernation faster than the standard
Windows hibernation command. Most PCs hibernate instantly, with no waiting
or delays, when Hibernater's icon is clicked.
How to Use
Just install Hibernater. The setup program will put a Hibernater shortcut
into your Startup folder. Hibernater will load automatically the next time
you logon to your PC. When you're ready to send your PC into hibernation,
click the Hibernater icon in your system tray (Hibernater's black and yellow
icon looks like a quarter moon).

Cool Cosmos
http://coolcosmos.ipac.caltech.edu/
As the passionate astronomer Karl Sagan once said, "We are all starstuff".
Which might explain why it is so exhilarating to learn about space, since on
some level we are learning about ourselves. Students, teachers and
stargazers alike can have a lot of fun while learning about Infrared
Astronomy at Cool Cosmos, an educational portal developed by NASA and Cal
Tech aimed at nurturing and teaching the young minds of the future.
Although our human eyes cannot pick up infrared light, thankfully we can
still learn about it.
There are a ton of cool educational features and games on this site to help
you and your kids learn about the 'invisible
world'. Check out the section on Cosmic Fun and Games, go to the classroom
to learn about the science behind Infrared Astronomy, and don't forget to go
to the Image Gallery where you will find the first ever Infrared Zoo.

SpoofStick
http://www.corestreet.com/spoofstick/
FREEWARE
CoreStreet Ltd., an e-mail security firm in Cambridge, has cobbled together
a free product called SpoofStick that does provide some protection against
website spoofing or faking a website. Click on a Web link inside a phish
e-mail, and you may be taken to a phony eBay site. But even if it looks
real, the browser ''knows" it's not really at eBay.com, but at some other
e-mail address. SpoofStick adds a toolbar to an Internet Explorer browser,
revealing the Web page's real domain name and displaying it in large green
letters. If you're supposed to be at eBay.com, but SpoofStick displays, say,
crooks-r-us.com, then you've been warned.

Both Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and Netscape 6 offer more control over
cookies than we've had before.
That control can help you avoid those third-party cookies that tend to send
information to whoever can read it.
To eliminate this type of browsing tracker, choose Edit|Preferences.
When the dialog box opens, under "Category," click Privacy & Security.
Select the check box labeled "Enable cookies for the originating Web site

and click OK to close the dialog box and save your new cookie selection.

Mike's Friday Tip ~ Beta Testing
Frequently you will see offers of free programs/software which is a free
Beta version.
While the free is an attractive price it comes with a certain amount of
risk.
When you read the "Terms and Conditions" or end user licensing agreement
"EULA" you may find that the programs producer assumes no liability if it
crashed or damages you computer or its "OS" operating system.
In other words use at your own risk.
many of the beta program have support groups and user forums availible as
well as "bug reporting" guidelines.
There is a version of the new XP SP2 which is still Beta available so if you
feel tempted to try it be sure to set a Restore Point before hand.

Antivirus software is a good choice to scan your system for possible viruses,
however no virus scanner is 100% effective as manufactures cannot keep up with
the rapid change of viruses that happens daily.
