If you often leave the TV on in another room while you?re online
?- just so you don?t miss a thing -- you?ll want to check out
this video technology. You can access digital television on your
computer monitor through a special PCI card, and you're still
free to surf and run whatever programs you want.

Clickomania V 4
Works in Windows 9X, ME, 2000 & XP

http://www.clickomania.ch/click/index.html

I have to warn you, this game is addictive, and you might find yourself
playing it over and over again.
The goal of clickomania is to try to remove as many stones as possible, by
clicking on groups of stones with the same color.

It might sound easy, but I can tell you that it is harder than you might
think.
I have only managed to remove all the stones twice.

Clickomania! offers several options to make the game easier for the young
ones and harder for experienced players.

BgInfo
http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/bginfo.shtml
BgInfo works on 95 and higher, and Windows NT 4.0 and higher.
How many times have you walked up to a system in your office and needed to
click through several diagnostic windows to remind yourself of important
aspects of its configuration, such as its name, IP address, or operating
system version? If you manage multiple computers you probably need BGInfo.
It automatically displays relevant information about a Windows computer on
the desktop's background, such as the computer name, IP address, service
pack version, and more. You can edit any field as well as the font and
background colors, and can place it in your startup folder so that it runs
every boot, or even configure it to display as the background for the logon
screen.

Because BGInfo simply writes a new desktop bitmap and exits you don't have
to worry about it consuming system resources or interfering with other
applications.

Synergy Freeware (open source)
http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/index.html

Synergy lets you easily share a single mouse and keyboard between multiple
computers with different operating systems, each with its own display,
without special hardware. It's intended for users with multiple computers on
their desk since each system uses its own monitor(s).

Redirecting the mouse and keyboard is as simple as moving the mouse off the
edge of your screen. Synergy also merges the clipboards of all the systems
into one, allowing cut-and-paste between systems. Furthermore, it
synchronizes screen savers so they all start and stop together and, if
screen locking is enabled, only one screen requires a password to unlock
them all.

View all of the devices on your Windows XP computer

If you use the Device Manager program to obtain information on your system
and its devices and resources, you may not be getting the full story.
To change this, open the Device Manager utility.
Once the devices are visible in the pane on the right, access the View menu
at the top of the screen.
Select the Show Hidden Devices option.
You should now see a wealth of information available on resources and
devices that weren't present in the previous display.

A Tail of a Ride Through Chernobyl
http://www.angelfire.com/extreme4/kiddofspeed

"I travel a lot and one of my favorite destinations is through the so called
Chernobyl "dead zone", which is 130kms from my home. Why my favorite?
Because one can ride there for long without encountering a single car or
living soul. The people are gone now and nature is reasserting itself in
blooming plants, woods and rippling lakes."

Font Size on Web Pages in IE

If you are like me you may have problems reading the fine print on some
pages with Internet Explorer.

There is a way to change the font size in IE to the one you have set up.

In IE6 click on; Tools> Internet Options> General Tab
Then click on Accessibility> now put the checkmark in the option for
"Ignore font sizes specified on Web pages".

Now the pages will display in the font that you have selected in;
Tools> Internet Options> General Tab> Fonts

Antivirus software is a good choice to scan your system for possible viruses,
however no virus scanner is 100% effective as manufactures cannot keep up with
the rapid change of viruses that happens daily.
Be sure to update yours regularly.
