AutoSizer 1.4
http://www.southbaypc.com/AutoSizer/
Resize your programs automatically
Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000, XP, and 2003
Windows 98 or higher is recommended; if using Microsoft Internet Explorer,
version 5.5 or higher is recommended.

AutoSizer automatically resizes any window you specify. For instance, some
web browsers open up in a non-maximized window. Using AutoSizer, you can set
those windows to automatically maximize every time they're opened. It works
with almost any program, including web browsers, Notepad, etc. AutoSizer
stays running in the system tray (next to the time), so it stays out of your
way while it works.

FirstCap 3.0
http://falsinsoft.altervista.org/firstcap.htm
warns you when CAPS are on

DID IT EVER HAPPEN TO you that you accidentally hit the caps lock button and
then had to type everything again?
This little tool allows you to sound a warning sound whenever the caps lock
button is hit and letters are being typed upper case. You can configure the
length of the warning sound as well as some hotkey combinations to disable
the
function. You can also choose to have the caps lock button function as a TAB
key, and thereby completely eliminate the risk of involuntary uppercase
typing. You can also choose to ignore the warning and use the caps lock in
it`s standard fashion.

Using Find to sort by file extension

As you know, Windows classifies files by their file type. As such, when
you're using the Details view in either Windows
Explorer or My Computer, you can click the Type column header to sort the
files by their file type. However, sometimes you may actually want to sort
files by their file extension rather than their file type. Keep in mind that
while sorting by file type and extension may yield similar results, they're
not exactly the same.
Fortunately, you can use Find to sort files by their file extension.

It's easy to think of Find only as a tool for quickly locating lost files.
However, Find is actually a great file management
tool. To see how this works, let's return to our example of working with TXT
files in the Windows folder. Once you launch
Find, click the Browse button, select the Windows folder in the Browse For
Folder window, and click OK. Now, simply type *.txt in the Named text box,
and click the Find Now button. When you do, Find searches the Windows folder
and displays all the TXT files in the utility's file pane. At this point,
you've actually filtered out all the files in the Windows folder except the
TXT
files.

Mike's Friday Tip ~ Open Minimized Program

Sometimes while trying to move files to another program the original program
may become minimized, or be under the window you have open.

When you have selected the file, by highlighting it, ( right click ).
Keep the mouse button held down and drag it over the programs name/folder
in the taskbar, (that is the one across the bottom of the window).

After a few second the window will open ready to receive the files.

Antivirus software is a good choice to scan your system for possible viruses,
however no virus scanner is 100% effective as manufactures cannot keep up with
the rapid change of viruses that happens daily.
Be sure to update yours regularly.
