iProtectYou Free 3.03
http://tde.tucows.com/preview/295406.html
Win 98/NT/2K/ME/XP
Any easy to use, free software product that allows you to manage what comes
through the Internet to your PC. You can use it to block/allow websites,
emails, chats and instant messages. Blocking is by lists and keywords. You
can even reduce pop-ups (a little weak but handy) and control user-time on
line. Plus, there is an activity log you may activate to review detailed
information about a user's online activities.
The download is fast and the install is simple. This product consistently
earns the highest user ratings on Web. It is that good and that easy to use.
Most web pundits rank it very high, too, but some knock it down a peg
because it is not highly automated (you make all the choices) and therefore
not slick enough to earn the highest tech marks. But, low-tech and mid-tech
users understand it, like it and use it.

UnClean 2.0
Freeware
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,4149,10304,00.asp
Windows 95/98/Me/NT4/2000/XP
Detailed information on how to use UnClean 2.0 and what it can do
please see
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,4149,541133,00.asp
If the install utility for an application has been designed correctly, it
will put uninstall information into the registry.
This information is used by the Add/Remove Programs applet (ARP) in the
Windows Control Panel. Modern install utilities store some additional
information: expected size of the installation, install date, publisher's
name, URL for technical support, and more. Unfortunately, the ARP for
Windows 95, 98, Me, and NT4
ignores all the information, showing only a list of programs that can be
uninstalled. Windows 2000 and XP have an updated ARP that displays the new
information, but it's slow to load and awkward to use. UnClean 2 is an
improved replacement for the uninstall portion of the ARP. It provides full
and clear access to all
available information, and does so for any of the six current Windows
platforms. You can delete an uninstall entry if you discover that it's no
longer valid. And of course you can remove, change, or repair programs in
the same way that you can with ARP.

Netscape 6 themes
Netscape users, do you ever wish that your browser had a little more
pizzazz?
Netscape 6 themes (http://home.netscape.com/themes/6_2/) allow you to modify
the browser to suit your personality. If you like the look of one of the
themes featured on the home page, just click the Install Now
link and you're off and running. After you download the theme, select View,
Apply Theme, and then select the name of your new theme.
If you'd like to explore more options, click the "Theme Park" link and
browse through the Netscape themes newsgroup to find links and information
about more themes.
If you don't like the results of your browser redecoration, you can always
select View, Apply Theme, and switch back to the "Classic" theme, which
returns Netscape 6 back to its original configuration.

Antivirus software is a good choice to scan your system for possible viruses,
however no virus scanner is 100% effective as manufactures cannot keep up with
the rapid change of viruses that happens daily.
Be sure to update yours regularly.
