All In One Tools | X-Setup 6.2
http://www.majorgeeks.com/article.php?sid=127
Xteq X-Setup is a so-called hacker or tweaker program.
It allows you to change settings that are normally hidden deeply in some
configuration-files like the registry fast and easily.
X-Setup offers several advantages, making it the ultimate tool for black
belt system tuning. It's runs on any Windows version (incl. XP), is
clutter-free, easy to use, extensible, powerful, covers any aspect of your
computer and has more configuration options than any other tweaker.
It includes major changes to the programs, a lot of new features, more than
200 plug-in changes and about 100 new plug-ins. If you are interested, just
have a look at the file HISTORY.TXT once you have downloaded it.
X-Setup is 100% Freeware for home user and charity/non-profit organisations,
but shareware for commercial institutions.

Tina's FrontPage Tips, by Tina Clarke
Saving space on the Toolbar
When you click on the tab on the right end of any of the toolbars, a pop-up
option labelled 'Add or Remove buttons'; will appear.
A further pop-up menu becomes visible if you click on the option, with all
the buttons that are available for this toolbar.
Using this, you can enable or disable any of the functions that you do or
don't regularly use, thus saving space on your toolbars.
At the bottom of each menu is a small chevron icon. Click on this to expand
the menu to access all the rest of the lesser-used features in FrontPage
2000.
If however, you'd like to see all of the functions all of the time, click on
'Customise' in the 'Tool' menu, and in the dialog box uncheck the box
labelled `Menus show recently used commands first'.

Changing The Icon Font
Remember back in the days of Windows 3.x when you could change your File
Manager font?
Unfortunately, Windows Explorer doesn't offer this option (one of its many
shortcomings) unless you're willing to change the font of every icon on your
system--on the desktop, in folder windows, and so on.
Right-click the desktop and select Properties.
Click the Appearance tab, and under Item, select Icon.
On the line below that, select a new Font and Size (don't adjust the Size to
the right of the Item list, or you'll change the icon size), then click
Apply.
Open an Explorer window (or switch to the desktop) for a preview of the new
setting, and if you like the look, click OK.
If not, change it again until you do.
Change your mind? In case you forgot, the default icon font for the Windows
Standard color scheme is eight-point, MS Sans Serif
(Western).

InstallFile v1.2
http://www.kraftig.com/InstallFile/
The new version 1.2 of InstallFile quickly solves the common problem of
replacing or deleting locked files. An overwhelming amount of more than
55000 downloaded version 1.1, and this version adds enhanced support for
Windows 95/98/Me and Windows XP.
InstallFile:
InstallFile is the command-line utility for replacing locked files on the
hard disk immediately after a reboot. This utility updates the registry so
that destination file is replaced by source file after reboot.
The problem:
You cannot run your favorite application. One of the dlls suddenly has the
wrong version number, probably as a result of the installation of another
program. After searching the disk and CD-ROMs you find the right version,
only to discover the wrong version cannot be replaced. At this point,
typically you would reinstall your favorite application, perhaps loosing a
lot of customized options. Sounds familiar?
The solution:
Use InstallFile to replace the wrong version file with the right version
file. And it works!
How it works:
InstallFile moves the file after the operating system is restarted. The
system moves the file immediately after AUTOCHK is executed, but before
creating any paging files, or loading dynamic link libraries.
How to use:
InstallFile is actually two utilities: A command line utility
(installfile.exe) and a windows dialog-based utility (winstallfile.exe).
Select the interface you like best, the result will be equivalent.
WInstallFile
WInstallFile guides you through the process of replacing the file by
presenting dialog where you can brows for the necessary source and
destination files.

Antivirus software is a good choice to scan your system for possible viruses,
however no virus scanner is 100% effective as manufactures cannot keep up with
the rapid change of viruses that happens daily.
Be sure to update yours regularly.
