"Use alternate locations from the list"  select next and 
next to update.  
This option should stay selected after the first time.  
This helps Kaspersky lighten the load for updates and

Instructions
Your goal is to explore three main zones as you descend into the
deep ocean: the twilight zone between 200m and 1000m, the dark
zone between 1000m and 4000m and the abyssal plain at 4000m.

As you descend, you have 10 minutes to collect a total of nine
deep sea animals, as outlined in the list of dive objectives
provided by Captain Fothergill. You?ll be awarded points for
each one you correctly sample and label.

To drive your sub and find the animals, drag your cursor up, down,
left and right and you?ll be able to move around the screen. You
can click on the animals to find out more about them.

If you think they?re relevant to your dive objectives, press the
?Take sample? button and add them to your selection. Then
identify the correct label by picking one from the 'Select
Category' option.

You can check your dive objectives and re-read the instructions at
any time by clicking on the appropriate button.

After 10 minutes, you?ll be transported back to the surface for
a debrief by Captain Fothergill, and a chance to top up your
score.

You can take the dive again and you?ll have a different
selection of objectives.

It will add a button to the toolbar menu in IE and enable you to
close all instances of the browser at once, [OR leave just the
instance you want]. 
It also kills those pop-unders which love to stick around. 
Everything is gone, and your sanity is still intact.

I Can't See The Desktop

better way to clean the desktop, so please don't write to me with
this advice).  For those who want to do it this way, use Windows
help files...it explains it.  My way does NOT appear in Windows
help files...that's why I include it here.  My way also does not
rob your computer of precious system resources, which the active
desktop DOES.

Have you ever sat in your car at a stoplight trying to predict
the exact moment the light will change? You might say that
today's site is for the easily amused -- those of us who can
become surprisingly absorbed in even the simplest game. The
Reflex Tester is very simple, and yet strangely captivating.
Simply click the Start button and wait for the screen to change
color. As soon as it does, click the Stop button. The Tester will
report how quick your response time was (along with a snide
remark challenging you to do better). If you think it will make
any difference, you can choose from a list of background colors.

Open A New Web Page


When you are on a web page, you can jump to a different 
web site by  pressing 'CTRL' and 'O' at the same time.
A text box will open up on ready for you to type an 
address into. 
It's works Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator.
In Opera and Mozilla it will bring up a larger text box,
with the 'Search' box. 
Enter the URL and it will open the page.

New security flaws discovered in IE, Outlook 
July 11, 2002

Researchers have discovered a new security flaw in Microsoft's
Internet Explorer (IE) Web browser and Outlook e-mail client. The
flaw can leave systems open to malicious code carried on Web pages
or in e-mails, Thor Larholm, a Danish security researcher said
Wednesday. 

The hole is created by what is known as a cross-domain scripting
flaw. In this case it means that HTML (Hypertext Markup Language)
version 4 objects embedded in Web pages and e-mails can include
code that allows an attacker to check out victims' cookie files,
read their documents, and execute programs on their computer. 

The bug was discovered on June 25, and information about it has
been posted on several security lists since then. Larholm, who
works for network security consultancy Pivx Solutions, said he had
informed Microsoft of the bug the day it was discovered. In
testing, Larholm has demonstrated the flaw in IE 5.5 running on
both Windows 98 and Windows NT and on IE6 running on Windows 2000.
The flaw also affects the Outlook and Outlook Express e-mail
clients. 

To fix the current problem, Larholm said that users should disable
ActiveX in the security settings for Internet Explorer, or run IE
and Outlook in "Restricted" mode, at least until Microsoft
releases a patch. 

Microsoft said a patch will be available soon.
